^{My best friend got her first parking ticket today - which was inevitable. In response she threw her sandwich at a jeep. Quite the mature reaction I thought.

^{Does anyone else feel like their life is just one big monotonous circle? I get up, I go to work, I work, I come home, I go to bed, repeat. On my days off I don't really do anything because I'm too knackered to.

I've just had my third record of conversation at work (apparently my standard of work has dropped in the past month - though let's not forget I've been working 46 hour weeks and all the overtime under the sun for them) and I'm facing a disciplinary if it happens again. What have I done? Can anyone explain because I'm seriously confused.

I think my bosses are forcing back into morning hours which I can't do because of medical reasons. I'm looking for another job but it took me so long to get this one I don't know how long it'll take.

*wishes I could win the lottery*

Small update on the fiasco on Sunday: We're not taking any further action. The police were up front with us and said what would happen if we pressed charges...It wasn't nice.

P.S. Ignore my mood, it says I'm peaceful when I'm really not.

^{Well. Last night was terrifying.

I had a great time out with Matt, Rhiannon, Clare and Chris. Kath was out with her ex celebrating his birthday. Something happened and she ended up with us crying her eyes out so I said I'd go home with her. I didn't want to leave her alone in such a state.

Me, Kath, Matt and Sean walked through town. Kath and Matt started arguing. We got to Kath's house and he wouldn't leave. We told him continually to just go home, it got to the point where we said we'd phone the police if he didn't leave.

Two boys came out of a house and said that he'd woken up their baby brother. We said we were really sorry and that he was going home now. They were fine with it so Matt walked off one way and the boys another. I closed the front door, we were going to have tea and go to bed. The next thing I know I'm hearing shouting. I opened the door and one of the boys was pushing Sean.

Then I heard Matt screaming. Me and Kath legged it down the alley way, I've never run so fast in my life. Everything that happened next was just a total blur. The boys had Matt on the floor in the middle of the road and they were kicking shit into him. Me and Kath were screaming then, we managed to get them away from him. I said to one of the boys that I was phoning the police and just walk away now. He said that he wasn't going back to jail and that he didn't threaten women but if me or Kath phoned the police he would do us over.

I could not stand there and watch my friend take a beating. I thought the boys were done but then I could hear more shouting and more boys came out of the alley way screaming "there he is!" and they jumped him. They kicked him in the head, punched him, etc. Me and Kath went absolutely ballistic. We jumped in the middle of the fight but they were so much bigger than us.

Matt was beaten up but he looked okay, I turned round and he was covered in blood. I have never seen so much blood in my life. That was it for me, I just broke down. I was shaking badly but I didn't feel the cold. I phoned the police then and I could barely talk because I was crying so much.

Sean turned round to Kath and said that it was all her fault and he would make sure everyone at work knew why Matt can't work. I said that two can play at that game. He stood there and watched Matt take a beating. You do NOT let a friend go through that, those men were so much bigger than me and Kath but we got in there. Fucking cowardly bastard.

Anyway, the police came. We gave them our details and the best description we could. We did a walk of Kath's street (that's where they live but we're not sure which house) and I told them what they said about them threatening us and the police said "Right, get away from here now." They took us to the van, dropped Sean off down by the red dragon then took us back. They wanted to give it five minutes, nothing else would happen but they wanted to be sure. They said that they were on shift until 7am so if anything happened, even if we heard a noise to phone them straight away. They were really great and didn't leave until the door was locked.

I have to do a statement and photo ID either Thursday or Friday. I think I'll have to go to court too.

Never been so terrified in my life.}

^{I've been gone for the past week or so. Sorry, you can blame work This week I've worked 46 hours and I'm only contracted for 24. Yay for much overtime

^{I must be a walking plague or something I went to work on Monday with cold like symptoms, when I came home I was sick and I felt terrible when I woke up the next morning so I went to the doctors (luckily I had yesterday and today off). I apparently have a viral infection and so I'm on ammoxicillin to clear it up. I don't think I'll be in work tomorrow though

Poppy went to see a hairdresser today She's all clean and her fur is soft to touch. It won't last very long though

And what's this about the prints? I'm a bit confused by it. I've disabled all my prints now, if I want anything (or any of you) I'll find somewhere else to print them.}
