Lately I seem to be updating this place about as much as I update my written diary (which isn't very often). There's a good reason for that.

I couldn't be bothered :D

Between being ill and work I just haven't got the time. I was hoping that I could spend this weekend being productive (i.e drooling over your art and making some of my own) but that plan has flown out of the window. Mags has put me down for a 6am-2pm shift this Saturday (dude wtf) and a 6am-12pm shift next Saturday.

Surely there's some sort of law against 6am starts five days in a row?

I have a feeling I'm going to need a lot of :coffeecup: over the next two weeks.

Oh! Tabitha and Merlin are 8 months old on Sunday! :dance:

There is a law about working extra hours, and working on weekends, specially on holidays (saturday) and sunday... so check it out. I studied law too... really... so you can charge the 3 times if they make you work on a holliday or sunday, or extra hours (more than 8 hours a day)....

There is no law against 6 am, unless you are underage... you aren`t right?

There are laws... so check them out in the UK. Even in latinamerica there are laws against working for more then 40 hrs a week, you should be getting special wages, and I am sure there is a law with the schedules too. I don`t see how they can make you work 12 hours in a day... it`s not right.

So, I would advice you to goggle in the internet now and check your working law in the UK.

Good luck, and well, I know it`s been hard finding a job in the first place, but come on hun, that is totally unfair...

9am to 5pm is the schedule most jobs have... but if you signed some kind of contract, you might have agreed there to work overtime, and over-schedule..

I wonder... check that out too!

I was the best studen of law in my school, so I know my thing!

I have a contract and my contracted hours are 6am-12pm Tuesday-Friday. I did say that I don't mind doing overtime but I just wish it wasn't always at 6am :XD:

I will check it out but I'm sure it's all legal because I only usually do 24 hours a week :)

But your contract does say tuesday to friday, so you have something there. Do you get overtime payment on saturdays? Check out the law for that... you might be missing on some extra money...
